Volga Christian School

The SCRIP Program is a fundraiser and tuition reduction program.  When you purchase SCRIP you purchase a gift card that is used just like cash.  The SCRIP is issued by national and local retailers where many of you already shop.  You can use SCRIP to purchase every day things like food, clothing and other items.  As you use SCRIP it helps reduce your tuition or the tuition of a grandchild or a friend and earns money for the school.

The SCRIP tuition can be credited to your account up to twice a year depending on your tuition payment schedule.  These payments are credited in the months of September and March.

The SCRIP program started in May of 1997.  Last year, the SCRIP program earned $1100.00 for the general fund and over $1800.00 toward tuition and future tuition.

Anyone can participate in the SCRIP program.  If you do not have a child or grandchild or any other child that you want to help reduce tuition, you can apply the full percentage toward the general fund.  SCRIP accounts can also be set up for future students of VCS.

With the SCRIP program, you do not spend anything extra, because you are getting certificates for stores you would normally shop at.  The national retailers certificates can be used at any store nation wide so they also make great gifts for far away family and friends.
